And welcome! Thanks for checking out my blog. I hope you enjoy your time here.
I like little moments. The moments in this blog are ones that inspire me to write.
I also like origami. It is choreographed folding and unfolding. Sometimes you make a fold and then immediately unfold the paper. The crease that is left serves a purpose for the remaining folds.
So, I’m used to folding and unfolding paper to create a representation of something else – an animal, a flower, a star. It’s never a perfect match, but you can recognize what it’s pointing towards.
The writings in this blog attempt to point towards my experience of an unfolding moment so I can share it with you. I hope it feels like flipping through a book that caught your eye at a local bookstore and landing on an intriguing page. Hmm. What’s this about?
These posts also allow me to refold a moment, package it up, place it on a page to be revisited. Maybe it will be unfolded again by me, by a stranger, by you.
Unfold, fold, unfold, refold, repeat.
Oh my goodness, what an endless cycle. This metaphor might get annoying over time.
Let’s watch it unfold (!) together.
